The table below outlines the Ministry Attendance targets for 2024 and 2026 and our Term 4 Attendance up to the end of Week 5. It is pleasing to see that at this stage of the term we are already meeting two of the 2024 targets.
Remember ‘Everyday Matters’ for your children’s schooling success.

Teachers will be administering distance learning for their students on this day and school will resume as normal on Thursday 23rd November.
Thank you for your cooperation. Keely was a special person and teacher, and we were fortunate enough to have her touch our hearts here at Stanley Avenue School.
A condolence book is in place at the office for anyone wishing to leave a message or share a memory that will be given to the family at a later date.
Kids Club will be open from 7.30am-5.30pm for this day. If you wish to book in please contact Rachael on 0284673093.

Piwakawaka - Firewise
PIWAKAWAKA had Michelle from the New Zealand Fire Service visit on Thursday to talk about being Firewise.
We talked about having a plan, getting down low and getting out in a fire , and how tools like matches and lighters are NOT toys.
There were lots of messages about how we can be Firewise at home and we look forward to sharing these with our families.
Gardening Group
We have strawberries!
Some very excited students helped Whaea Adreena put the bird netting over the plants, and were rewarded with freshly picked delicious strawberries.
Earlier this week, students of the gardening group were able to taste rhubarb crumble slice, made with rhubarb grown in our gardens!
Keep up the great work budding gardeners!
