Helpful Reminders for the First Day of School
Arrival and Dismissal at CCS!
Please see the information below outlining our arrival and dismissal procedures for bus riders and students being picked up.
ANY CHANGES IN TRANSPORTATION MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE MAIN OFFICE NO LATER THAN 1:00 PM.
We recommend you send a note in with your child if their transportation is changed for that day.
VISITOR MANAGEMENT: SAFETY AND SECURITY
Anyone picking up a child from school must have photo identification and must be on the approved list to pick up that child. Please be sure to review the parent portal and update any information as needed.
If you are sending someone to pick up your child who is not on the approved list, you will need to send a note with the person's FULL NAME.
Please remind this person that they must show photo identification
As outlined below regarding students being picked up, we have two categories:
5 DAYS/WEEK PARENT PICK UP:
If you are picking up your child 5 Days/Week, you will complete a form. During the first week of school, you will be required to show photo identification when picking your child up. After the first week, you will be asked to wait around the inside loop of the parking lot and a staff member will radio in for your child to come outside.
PARENT PICK UP (NOT 5 DAYS/WEEK):
You will be required to sign your child out with the greeter or main office.
PICKING UP YOUR CHILD EARLY/APPOINTMENTS:
It is recommended that when possible, please make any appointments for your child outside the school day. We understand this is not always possible. If you need to pick your child up, you will need to sign them out at the greeter's desk or in the main office. Again, you will need your photo identification.

Recycle Rally
CCS is happy to continue the tradition and partnership with the Recycle Rally Program. We are doing things a little differently.. any recycling bottles can be dropped off at the back of the building in the designated areas instead of being brought inside the school. There are some fun recycling contests, promotions, and initiatives for this year! We will continue to work with the community and set recycling goals for our school!
