Principal's Message...
We hope you had a great week and have found your groove with Tustin Connect and the flexibility and responsibility that comes with Independent Study. We have lots of support available for students and families. Along those lines, our PTA has a number of announcements and upcoming events they will be sharing over the next two weeks. Elementary Information
You've Got This: We have mentioned throughout the first months of the school year how important it is to stay on track. Your teachers and staff are here to help. Please take advantage of the resources available and don't hesitate to reach out. It takes a village and we are here for you and want nothing more than you to succeed.
Middle School Information
Electives Going Strong: Big kudos to our middle school teachers who have done an amazing job to launch our elective options this year. We are excited to offer Leadership, Art, and Public Speaking this year. It is a great way for our students to gain more experience and exposure to a variety of topics.
High School Information
Second Quarter: For those of you new to the Maverick Family, 2nd quarter is coming up quickly. Students will be completing the first round of courses and beginning their second-quarter classes highlighted by math and English as well as some of our Spanish classes to highlight a few. Be sure to work with your advisory teachers to confirm you finish strong in quarter 1 and are ready for quarter 2.

Hello, and welcome new and continuing Maverick families,
Oh, what will this new school year bring? Great things! We’re already off to a strong start thanks to parents like you, who have grown this PTA, blessing us with great talent and enthusiasm. We’re excited to support student opportunities to socialize, class activities, campus enhancements, graduation and promotion, teacher appreciation, book fair, family events, and much more.

Technology Questions/Needs - There's Help Available!
OCTA Youth Ride Free Program
TUSD and OCTA have partnered up to provide free public transportation with the "Youth RIde Free" Program. The pass is available for any TUSD student ages 6-18 years old. There is one bus pass per student available. Please come into the Tustin Connect Office to fill out the parent request form to obtain a student pass.
