From Mrs. Smith......
Good evening!
PLEASE, if you look at nothing else tonight in the SMORE, could you please fill out the Back to School Consent form for me if you have not done so? I really appreciate it.
We have had a great week at Schmucker! We have built great advisory communities this week and last week. Students have devised advisory team names, chosen team colors and created team banners. In the coming weeks and throughout the year, we will be participating in Sparty Sports, which are competitions for all. They will be brain teasers, simple races, and feats of logic that all can take part. We look forward to these friendly competitions.
As we continue to promote our ONE WORD theme this year of IMAPCT, we have asked your students to chose a one word goal for themselves. It can be a goal that they achieve in school or out of school. We have discussed goals and how they drive us and keep us focused. Ask your student about their ONE WORD!
We are working on finishing ClearSight testing this week. ClearSight allows us to see student progress towards mastering all of the Math and ELA grade level standards. We are excited to have your students share more about their progression in October at Student Led Conferences.
Thank you for trusting us with your children. Have a great week. Here is to another week of IMPACT.
SPARTY UP! SPARTYON!
