Student Leadership executive board meeting tomorrow Tuesday, December 5th from 8:15 to 8:35 in Mrs. Collin’s room

CBE Activities:

• Boys Wrestling, Monday - 12/4, at WF Cheney, 5 pm (bus leaves at 4 pm)

• Girls 7th Grade Basketball, Monday - 12/4, at CBE, 5 pm

• Girls 8th Grade Basketball, Monday - 12/4, at Dilworth Elementary, 5 pm (bus leases at 4 pm)

CBE Orchestra Concert: Chamber Orchestra, 6 grade honors choir, 7/8th grade honors choir.

Monday, December 4, 6-7 PM, at West Acres . Students will need to arrange their own transportation. (Students wear white on top and black on bottom.)

The 12 Days of Reading challenge is going on right now in the library. This challenge lasts until December 21st. Stop down in the library if you are interested to grab your challenge card and read the full rules!

Here are the answers to a few Frequently Asked Questions:

• Q: How do you know I read a book for the challenge? A: Remember to write down either the title of the book or the date you completed a challenge in each square to help you keep track.

• Q: Can I complete more than one challenge with 1 book? A: Yes! Example– if you read a 200 page book for 30 minutes on a weekend while listening to Christmas music it would count for 3 separate challenges!

• Q: Do I have to read the whole book? A: Yes, every effort should be made to read the entire book. Please talk to the library staff if you have any questions!

• Q: I read a book one time in 5th grade. Can I count it? A: No. The point of this challenge is to be reading now, so only books you’re currently reading count!
