Expectations at Sporting Events
Sportsmanship
Attending Winston Campus home sporting events means you are expected to cheer respectfully. To do so, we…
- Cheer for our team at appropriate times and are quiet at appropriate times, including when someone is injured and during free throws
- Use school-appropriate language
- Don’t say anything to the refs - good or bad
- No Cell phones Allowed - used with supervisor permission only.
Leadership
- Make Winston proud; the choices you make should support our teams, but it should do so positively.
Safety
- Follow directions given to you by staff supervisors.
- Walk up/down the bleachers and remain seated once you are there.
- If you need to leave the bleachers to go to the bathroom or to leave for the day, please do it during a break in play with permission from a supervisor. Please stay away from the area of play.
If you have any questions during the event, please ask a supervisor!
