November's Newsletter
Dates in November
- October 31st - November 4 Book Fair
- November - Thank Alabama Teachers Month
- November 3rd- 5 - Archery Tournament at Dodge
- November 8th - Learn at home day (Dodge is a voting site, students will be at home)
- November 10 - Lunch for Veterans
- November 11 - Veteran's Day, No school
- November 16 - Progress Reports
- November 21-25 - Thanksgiving Break, No school
Reminders
- Outside treats and snacks are not allowed to be sent in for birthdays or holidays (Christmas and end of the year are acceptable).
- Early dismissals are not allowed after 2:00. Please limited early dismissals to doctors appointments.
- School begins at 8:00 and tardy bell is at 8:05.
- Carpool is running smoothly and we are finishing at a faster rate, please be sure to be here before 3:30.
- Please put your child's name in their jacket, lunchbox, and any other item that may be left around school. This helps us to return the lost items.
- In the mornings, please refrain from dropping children off on the street. This is dangerous for the children.
Leaders for the Month of October
During October we focused on Habit 3, put first things first. The following students were chosen in their classroom as the student that exhibited this habit.
Service Project
During the month of November we will be holding a canned food drive, nonperishable items are also accepted. This food drive will help stock the food pantry at Kingswood United Methodist Church, one of our partners in education. Please have your students bring in the canned food November 1st through 10th.
