We are gearing up and getting ready for the start of school!! This summer has flown by, but we are super excited about this school year! If you haven't heard from your child's teacher, please call the school office on Monday to find out who they have this year. All teachers have been working hard contacting families, but numbers in Powerschool have been a little funky for some reason. Let us know if you have any questions or need anything.

We are finding that many parent cell phones either don't have their voicemail set up, or their mailboxes are full. We would love your help with this! We want to make sure that we are able to communicate with you this year, especially if it is an emergency. Thanks for taking time to make sure that your phones are good to go! Communication is truly the key to a successful year!! Thank you!!

We are super excited about our Meet the Teacher event on Wednesday, August 16th! Come to meet your teacher (or visit with them again) and see where your classroom is located! It is a drop in visit and parents must accompany their children. Don't forget that Kona Ice will be outside waiting on you as you leave the event.

Just a heads up! We will be collecting a $10 subscription and agenda book fee during the first two weeks of school. Last year, we collected $5 from each student, but with the rising costs of subscriptions of wonderful reading materials your children use and enjoy in class and agenda books, we needed to raise the fee. So glad lunches are free again this year...that is so helpful! Feel free to contact me if you have questions about this or if you need help with paying this fee. Thank you!!

August 15th - First Mandatory Teacher Work Day

August 16th - Meet the Teacher 1:00-3:00 (Kona Ice will be here until 3:30) &

Mandatory Teacher Work Day

August 17th - Mandatory Teacher Work Day

August 18th - Optional Teacher Work Day

August 21st- First Student Day 12:30 DISMISSAL

August 22nd- Afterschool Begins (see the office prior to school for an application)

August 23rd - Kindergarten Registration 1:30 pm

August 28-29- Staggered start for Kindergarten
