From the desk of Principal Williams
We have seen an increase in inappropriate behaviors at school. We are working hard at Steele Lane to reinforce the positive behaviors and focus on them, but we could use some support at home. Please have a conversation with your students about the following;
-Staying seated at the lunch tables
-Not sharing food
-We have noticed some students are not eating lunch
-Keeping their hands to themselves
-Cell phones out while on campus
-Bringing candy to school;
-Speaking kindly to staff and other students
-Asking for help when they need it
-If your student rides the bus, they need to be buckled, stay seated, and not eat
We appreciate the support you provide us at home. Thank you for all you do to help make Steele Lane a special place to learn and grow.
With much gratitude,
Mrs. Williams
ELAC
Our next meeting will be on October 28th at 6pm via Zoom.
