Principal's Updates
Happy Hallowe'en! Well done to all the boys and girls on a super to our first term here at PJP. Well done to everyone on their costumes today. It was great to see so many dinosaurs, witches and wizards coming through the school gate!
A big well done to our sixth class girl GAA team who played so well in the Cumann na Bunscoile Final in Croke Park on Tuesday! The girls were a credit to themselves, their families and our wonderful school. You played with such courage and heart and we are so proud of you. A special thanks to David Breen who joined Ms. James and Ms. Carr in coaching the girls for this match.
I hope that everyone has a lovely midterm break! Have a very happy hallowe'en hopefully filled with lots of treats. Stay safe and well and see you on November 6th when we reopen.

Ms Millar's Sixth Class
Ms. Millar's class entering into the spirit of things. The class are currently working on their Big Ideas for the Junior Entrepreneur Competition. We are all looking forward to hearing their pitches to the Dragons and seeing what idea the judges will choose.

Board of Management Updates
A big thank you to Dearbhla Kelly and Tom Stokes who were recently appointed to our new Board of Management as parent body reps. We look forward to forming the new board in December. Ms. Whyte will act as our Teacher Representative. A sincere thanks to Ms. Magner who held this role for the last four years.
Ms Burke's Fourth Class
School Library Update
The School Library has officially opened and the children are enjoying their weekly and fortnightly visits.
A massive thank you to the 6th class students in Ms James' and Ms Byrne's classes who work as the school librarians.
We are looking for donations for our Junior Library. In particular, we are hoping for the following books:
