Why I Attend the SHAPE Michigan Convention
Sherri Austin - Saugatuck Public Schools
I go to the SHAPE Convention each year to network with others! This is one of the best ways to find new ideas to incorporate into my curriculum, and bring fun and exciting ways to learn back to my school!
I also enjoy interacting with others who are equally excited and enthusiastic about our profession.
Amy Nieuwenhuis - Otsego Public Schools
I'm so super excited to attend the SHAPE convention again this year! SHAPE-MI did a fantastic job of keeping us connected during the Covid- era but it'll be great to see everyone face to face. I always come away with some new activities to insert into our curriculum and to enhance my teaching. I also love this opportunity to connect with other educators from around the state!
Scott Pryzstas - Grand Haven Public Schools
I am attending the SHAPE convention to catch up with friends and colleagues. There are also always ideas and activities that I learn and bring back to my district each year to make my program better. Attending the conference is always rewarding and beneficial interacting with others in our profession.
