What is Banned Book Week?
This week we recognize Banned Book Week and that Books Unite Us - Censorship Divides Us.
Nationally there have been 681 challenges to books in the first eight months of this year, involving 1,651 different titles.
Book choice is powerful and essential. More freedom for people, doesn't mean less freedom for others. Access to information is one way that a free society is truly free.
Two teens in Memphis organized the Tennessee Yourh Coalition to defend your rights to read. Follow them on FaceBook.
