Principal weekly update

Thank you so much for all of the parents, friends, grandparents who came to view all of our fabulous projects during the Black History Gallery Walk. The projects students did were amazing!!! I have linked the article in the newspaper below.

Reminder that we are celebrating National Science Day on Wednesday. Students can dress up as their favorite scientist and we will be playing science trivia throughout the day. The class with the most answers will win an ice cream party!
Next week we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss all week with many fun events planned!!

I want thank the students in Mrs. Bartholomew's class for holding a can shake collection of coins to help purchase books for students who were not able to. It was an incredibly kind act they did!!

- All Star is looking for bus drivers! Bus Company
- Remember to look for Ed Advance before school information for next year in their upcoming flyer for the 2024-2025 registration.
**Special note to our 5th grade parents please see the attached flyer for our first 5th grade activity scheduled in March. It will be a bowling night with BES 5th graders at Thomaston Lanes on Monday March 18th. Bowling Flyer

School Schedule – Upcoming dates
School hours are MTThF 8:25 am – 3:15 pm, doors open at 8:15 am. Our hours on Wednesday are 8:25 am - 2:35 pm

School Lunch/Breakfast

Breakfast is served at school at 8:15 am for those who wish to eat breakfast at school. Breakfast is free for all students. Lunch will be free for those who qualify for free or reduced lunch.
Applications for free and reduced breakfast and lunch are found on the website and here: Application
Ice cream and snacks are now available to Grades K, 3, 5 on Tuesdays and Grades 1, 2, 4 on Thursdays. Please practice your child's PIN number with them!
Classroom Celebration sheets must be turned in 2 weeks before the celebration. Click Celebration sheet to complete the form then return the form and payment 2 weeks before the event.

Fifth Grade Bowling Night! The BES & MES 5th graders and their parents are invited to Meet & Mingle before they are all together at middle school next year! Monday, March 18, sign up for this fun night here!
