Dear Parents,

We hope this message finds you well. We're excited to share that the month of October has been truly remarkable at our school, filled with a diverse range of events and activities that have brought our community closer together.

From the fantastic Costume Parade that saw our students' creativity and enthusiasm on full display, to the memorable Family Fun Night where families bonded over games, laughter, and delicious treats, it's been a month of shared joy and togetherness.

Our Student Leadership initiatives have also taken root, with our young leaders stepping up and inspiring positive change within our school. Their dedication and passion are setting a wonderful example for their peers.

We believe that this sense of unity and involvement is integral to a vibrant and supportive school community. It's heartwarming to see the active participation and enthusiasm of our students, parents, and staff in making these events a resounding success.

We look forward to continuing this momentum into the coming months and creating more opportunities for engagement and growth. Thank you for your continued support, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for our school community.

Dear Evergreen Families,

Thank you so much for attending the Family Fun Night and making it a huge success. We hope you enjoyed the food, games, robotics, and most importantly, the wonderful unforgettable memories. We have two costume winners and are looking for two more. Please submit your child's FFN costume picture to evergreencommunityclub@gmail.com.

We want to send a special thank you to our Community Club volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this event successful.

With your support, we are able to provide up-to-date technology, field trips, supplies, and so much more.

Please be on the lookout for our holiday fundraiser coming soon. Your child will have the opportunity to win some nice prizes!

Our next Community Club meeting will be on November 9th at 8:30 am, where we will be discussing school updates and upcoming Community Club events.

I am thrilled to announce that the implementation of "The Leader in Me" program at Evergreen has been a tremendous success. Our unwavering commitment to nurturing leadership, responsibility, and personal growth among our students has yielded remarkable outcomes.

Our "Leader in Me" Student Lighthouse Team is on a mission to empower more student leaders. We're actively working on promoting additional leadership roles through various action teams. Stay tuned for opportunities to shine as leaders and make a difference in our school community!

Congratulations to student leader, Sara! Sara has been actively participating in Sparring Taekwondo for almost a year now. She has competed in various tournaments at the local and national level, and has achieved medals in all of them. Her consistent success is a testament to her hard work and dedication towards the sport. Congratulations from all of us here at Evergreen!

Our students have completed the first trimester of the school year. Report cards can be viewed on the AERIES Parent Portal Friday, November 17th at 4 PM.

We're thrilled to announce that our annual Evergreen Costume Parade was an enormous success! Our students' creativity, enthusiasm, and fantastic costumes lit up the day, making it a memorable event for all.

A big thank you to our incredible students, dedicated staff, and supportive parents for contributing to this delightful celebration of Halloween. Your participation and commitment to making this event special are truly appreciated.

Instructional Aide II Special Education Mrs. Sandra Davaloz is awarded with the Personnel Commission’s October Cornerstone Award recognition! Congratulations and well deserved! Evergreen is very fortunate to have you on our team!

Congratulations to Mrs. McQuilliams and Mrs. Brown, the Teachers of the Year for 2022-2023! They were both honored at Walnut High School for the Walnut Valley School Unified School District’s annual "Salute to Teachers". We are grateful to have them both as part of our Evergreen Family!

Our wonderful students from Room 29, Mrs. Saucedo's class, had a fantastic time at the Annual SELPA Art Festival! They saw some incredible artwork created by our very own students. Additionally, all students were treated to an amazing magic show and had the opportunity to create some crafts themselves.
