Our 1st grade students experimented with solids, liquids and gases to learn about properties!

We are half-way through the school year! Our 2nd grade students celebrated by painting symmetrical pictures, measuring to the half inch, and decorating half hats.

Our 3rd grade students read about heroes and their extraordinary acts of courage and bravery.

Just a reminder that we try and have students go outside for recess every day, even if it is an abbreviated amount of time.

Please make sure your child has dressed appropriately for outdoor recess. Coats, hats, scarves, and gloves/mittens are a great idea!

The February Boomerang Asset is Caring - Young person values service to others, in their family, school, or community. If you know a student who exemplifies this asset, please complete a nomination form by Wednesday, February 23rd and email it to Liz Meier, our student support counselor, at emeier@cbsd.org.

It's time to register for Kindergarten!

Once your child is registered, then tell us about your son/daughter! We invite you to complete our Kindergarten Welcome Survey found on our New Families Resources Page.

NOTE: Requests for morning or afternoon kindergarten are determined on a first come - first serve basis. Priority is also given to a request with a documented need by the parents' employers.

Its time for our annual Bingo Family Fun Event!

This event is a popular one and due to current capacity limitations at Tohickon, we are limiting the number of people we can have at our event to 250. So, please don't delay in signing up.

Order your Gayman 2021-2022 yearbook with a few simple steps:

1. Go to www.treering.com/validate2.
2. Enter Gayman's Passcode: 10157566069198.
3. Orders are due by April 12th.

Parents and guardians are able to submit an absence request via the Parent Portal. When a student is absent from school, but the school did not receive communication from the parent or guardian, a text message and email will be sent.

All attendance questions can be directed to Christine Stevens, cstevens@cbsd.org, in the Gayman Office.

To volunteer or chaperone, your clearances must be up-to-date.

If your clearances are current, upload them into the App Garden - Volunteer Tracker. If your clearances have expired, or you need to begin the clearance process, click on the Required Documents for the directions.
