It was a busy week here at OHS. Here are a few examples of activities that our students got to be involved in:

This week the National Honor Society was able to purchase Christmas presents for local children in need of gifts with the money raised from the OHS teacher auction and other donations. It was heartwarming to see the number of gifts stacked under the tree for the children.

The three choir classes have been rehearsing for the Medieval Dinners which will be held this weekend. If you have tickets, you are in for a treat!

Mr. Belton organized a trip to Chicago for the Government students so they could see Hamilton, the musical. The students enjoyed the musical and the experience.

Winter sports season is here. Boys swim, wrestling, and basketball are all under way and our students are doing well at the start of the season.

We have one more week before our Christmas break. We’ve created opportunities for dress up days this upcoming week, so join us in the festivities as we finish out 2023!

The students in our National Honor Society chapter here have fundraised extensively this year, and brought in a total of $8366.46! This allowed them to shop for and purchase gifts for 96 students in the Otsego community this year. They're doing a great job living out the values of the National Honor Society - scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
