The Learning Coach is the primary support source at the home such as a parent or guardian. Student's can have multiple Learning Coaches. As your child's Learning Coach, you will:

• Provide academic support, motivation, and guidance throughout the school year
• Ensure your child is on track with assignments and coursework
• Communicate with teachers
• Learning Coaches do not need to record attendance

MODA has services for students that have a current IEP or are in need of added academic supports.

1. During enrollment, if you identified your child as having a current IEP, one of our special education teachers will be reaching out to you.
2. Services will begin once MOVA has a copy of the current IEP from your child's previous school district.

The K12 app is a great resource for Learning Coaches. Log into the K12 app with your Learning Coach credentials and you'll have the power to:

• Track your student's progress
  
• View your schedule
• Receive instant notifications (such as when your student's materials have been shipped, when courses and teachers have been assigned, and more)
• Communicate your plans for future school years
• Join the Learning Coach Communities
