Every year we handpick books that we think would be the most beneficial and of interest to students at our school. Then students get to vote between two of the books each month. Voting begins in October. Then in February we have a Battle Royal between the winning books. The ultimate winner helps decided the theme for the BOB dance near the end of the year.
BOB is a great way to get our whole school involved with the library even our reluctant readers. Last year we had many students check-out BOB/GOAT books because they saw other students voting for it and some of them actually read the book! This is a great way to get students excited about books and hopefully get them to crack one open.
Look at the list below and see if maybe there are some books that you would like to read and talk about with students! We also hope to do a BOB dance at the end of the year to celebrate the winning books.

We are here to help you out! We would love to come to your classroom to talk about research, evaluating information online, do book talks, or if there is another subject that you would like us to help you out with let us know.
Laminator!
Everyone is welcome to use the laminator in the library just remember it takes about 15 minutes to warm up. You are welcome to call ahead and we can turn it on for you. We do ask that you do your own laminating although once in a while and maybe for chocolate the librarians will help you out:) Students are not allowed to use the laminating machine.
