MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Good Evening Otter Families!

This edition of In "Otter" News will be for the weeks of 11/14 - 11/18 AND 11/21 - 11/25. Please be sure to look closely below at the events that are taking place next week!

Honey Baked Ham orders on due on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 14th and pick up is TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 22nd.

From 11/15 - 11/18, Mrs. Lloyd will be the "Teacher in Charge" managing the business of the building. I will be out of the building on those days for my wedding! Mrs. Lloyd is aware of all protocols and procedures and the Central Office is aware of my absence and will be available to support Mrs. Lloyd if needed. I look forward to returning on 11/21 officially as Mrs. Anderson!

Simply search for your child's art using Art Search, and enter state, school name, and your student's name. Your student's art and code will appear, and you may order!

Santa/Holiday Shop - December 5th - December 9th

In School Shopping: The "Holiday Gift Shop®" program will be set up at the

school and supervised by our parent volunteers. They will help the children pick

that perfect gift for the price they want... in a familiar, comfortable atmosphere.

Your local school will be sending home information on the date(s) and times

the shop will be open at the school.

Virtual Shopping: The "Holiday Gift Shop®” also offers gift shopping online at

StudentGiftShop.com. Once on the site, Type (login) HOLIDAY and click enter.

On the next page, click the "Enter Here" button. Type Password: OAKE2020 to

start shopping. Virtual Shopping Ends on December 16th.

Message About the Flu from Nurse Pratz

Dear Otter Families,

Flu season is here already! Here are signs and symptoms to look for:

Fever (>100)
Cough
Sore Throat
Fatigue or Tiredness
Chills
Body Aches
Stuffy or Runny Nose
Headache

If your child exhibits any of these symptoms, keep your child home and see the doctor. Please send an absence note through our home page. Please be sure to communicate with me about the symptoms your child is displaying.

When should I keep my child home from school?

Fever >100.0, vomiting, diarrhea, or pink and crusty eyes
Symptoms of COVID-19 like illness OR symptoms or an illness that do not resolve after home interventions
Your child has been directed to quarantine by the local health department
