GMS Bulldog News
September 2023
Principal's Message
I hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend. We have had a fantastic start to the school year at GMS! Students and staff had a good time with Elec Simon on Thursday. Staff benefited from having time on Friday to collaborate and plan instruction for your students. Many of our athletic teams and clubs are now in full swing or getting started. 8th grade DC contracts were due today and the parent meeting is later this month. MAP testing for reading will occur tomorrow, as it was rescheduled due to technical difficulties. Hopefully once finished, we can then settle in a little more and get away from some of the craziness of the start of a new school year. We encourage you to get involved with opportunities for parents. This month we will have our first official PTSA meeting, PTSA will run their book fair, and the first parent teacher conferences will occur. Have a great short week! We look forward to continuing our work with your students.
