A QUICK NOTE FROM SUPERINTENDENT SOKOLOWSKI
Dear WCASD Community,
The holiday season and festivities are underway throughout our district! This is certainly a special time to celebrate the achievements of the school year, to donate our time and talents to those in need and reconnect with loved ones. While our school communities teach kindness all year, I have extra reason to be proud this season. Our staff and students have consistently come together to raise funds for causes such as finding a cure for Epilepsy, volunteering their time to beautify West Chester Borough, decorating holiday cards for servicemen and women, packing food and necessities for those in need and so much more.
Our entire WCASD community is making the theme of ‘healing and learning’ possible, and I am so inspired. I would also like to thank all of our school board members for their service, specifically those exiting our board following the November board meeting. Mr. Brian Gallen, Mr. Chris McCune and Mr. Randell Spackman have made a tremendous impact on the District and our community, and I wish them well in their next endeavors.
I wish you and your families a very happy and safe holiday season, and I look forward to the exciting possibilities the new year offers WCASD.
From holidays that bring us together with family and friends to concerts, parades and poetry competitions, the WCASD calendar of events is full of reasons to celebrate all month long. To make sure that you don’t miss a moment of the WCASD magic, check out the list of upcoming events and our Celebrate the Arts flyer below!
