RISE Students and Staff of the Week!
Thank you Holliston Youth Basketball Association!
Miller School sincerely thanks the Holliston Youth Basketball Association for their generous donation of four brand-new basketball hoops and court lining, recently installed near the playground.
Below is a Facebook post that includes pictures and a summary of this amazing donation!
Safety Assemblies with Officer Woods
Next week all students will practice a Safety Drill through a group discussion led by Officer Woods, Mr. Keim, and Mrs. Maurao. During this time, we will talk with students about how to keep ourselves safe at school if there was ever an unwanted person in the building.
We will talk about the importance of stopping, looking, and listening to the teacher for directions.
We will talk about what a safety drill sounds like versus a fire drill.
The schedule for these discussions is below:
- Tuesday, October 29th: Grade 5
- Wednesday, October 30th- Grade 3
- Thursday, October 31st- Grade 4
