Hello Jaguars!

It is hard to believe, but with state testing almost complete, the finish line for the 2023-24 school year is almost upon us! This time of year brings much excitement as students celebrate what they have learned, how hard they have worked, and as they prepare for advancement to the next grade level. Sunshine is in the air, the temperatures are warming, school spirit continues to grow.

As we continue to move through the third trimester, we continue to plan and prepare for spring assemblies, Science Camp, STEAM night, promotion, and much, much more. As always, Mossdale is a place Where The Making Of Success Stories Happens Daily!

Promotion plans are happening as we speak! Promotion will be held on Tuesday, May 21st at 9:00am in the Mossdale Gym. Every student will receive 6 tickets to distribute to his/her family.

For all 8th grade parents and families, please refer to the letter that was sent out recently that contains all important dates and information.

Staff appreciation week is upon us! We are thankful to all our staff who make it possible to teach our students each and every day. We would invite you to consider sending a small note of thanks on specified days if there is a staff member who has made a difference in your child's life!

Leadership students from all Lathrop schools attended the annual California Association of Directors of Activities conference held in Modesto in April! Students from Lathrop Elementary, Joseph Widmer Elementary, Mossdale Elementary, and Lathrop High School attended together to learn how to build school culture.

Our boys and girls track teams continue to excel. With Acorn League Trials last week, and Finals this week, our athletes are winding down the 2023 season. Results from the Trials can be found here:

STEAM Night 2024 was a huge success! Over 125 students and parents attended. Click on the button below to view a short video recap!

Attention parents! A big change to the schedule is the return of Early Release Wednesdays at Mossdale School starting in August. This means that designated Wednesdays will become minimum days for students releasing at 1:30pm. These designated days are listed on the bell schedule attached below.

For full details, click on the attached letter that was sent home recently as well as the 2024-25 bell schedule. Hard copies will be sent home in the fall.

Beginning in the 2024-25 school year, all report cards in grades K-6 will be Standards Based and will look different than what students and parents are accustomed to. Please watch the video below for a brief overview. More information will continue to be shared throughout the summer and fall.

Mossdale office hours will be from 7:30am to 3:30pm.

Summer office hours from May 28-June 13 will be as follows::

7:30am to 1:30pm, Mondays through Thursdays.
