IB University Recognition Database
Wondering if your dream school will give you credit for your IB courses?
This exciting new resource for prospective students, parents, teachers, and counsellors is a helpful tool when planning your college journey. The IB Recognition Database will allow you to see what each institution has set as their admissions criteria regarding: IB programmes, courses, grades and subjects, depending on what information has been added by the individual institute. Currently there are around 500 university records to be found. This database can be used to search for different study options in two ways:
- Searching for country or territory recognition statements
- Searching for university recognition statements
The country or territory search function allows users to view published statements for each country or territory, including any official agreements or policies from the national or state governing bodies regarding IB curricula. Additionally, for the United States and Canada, there is a state or province search function as well.
