With the winter season now upon us, I would like to take a quick moment to remind our school district community about our winter weather procedures. In the case that we need to call for a snow day or remote learning day, we will send out a direct communication via email, text, and phone to everyone in the community notifying them of the decision and to give them any further information if necessary.

In the case that we need to call for a remote learning day, schools will send additional information to students regarding the schedule and protocol for the day.

I hope everyone stays warm this weekend and had a great Thanksgiving holiday.

New Hampshire poet Laureate Jennifer Militello will be visiting Alvirne coming up on December 10th at 2:30 pm in room 304. All Alvirne staff and students, as well as the Hudson community are invited to attend. We ask that anyone who is planning on attending to please RSVP by using the link here.

The Hudson Memorial School PTO will be hosting its third annual Festival of Wreaths tomorrow afternoon from 3-5 pm at the HMS gym. They will be raffling off over 50 wreaths and will have concessions (cookies, hot cocoa, popcorn), games, and take-home crafts for kids. All information for the event can be found in the flyer below.

Congratulations to all 41 new members of the National Technical Honor Society, who were inducted on Wednesday evening at The Barnyard Café at the Palmer Center at Alvirne High School. The mission of the society is to empower all students to pursue the skills needed to build their careers and the global workforce through career development, leadership development, and service opportunities.
