As I was driving home this week and the sun was setting over the mountains I took a moment to pull over and enjoy natures beauty. I hope you will take some time over our week break to venture out into nature, spend time with family and friends and enjoy a special meal. Happy Thanksgiving!

Our very own Maryann and her husband Ken served up an incredible Thanksgiving meal for us today! After that we shared in a school wide Folk dance ld by Sarah Metcalf, our music teacher. A great big THANK YOU!!!!

Today we revisited our school and recess expectations. We talked about what we are thankful for and heard from Kid President who shared his top 25 things to be thankful for. Lastly we took some time to chat about safety drills that are required throughout the school year.

As the temperatures drop, please keep in mind:

T-shirts, shorts, crocs or sandals can be worn on their own outside (meaning no additional layers required) when the temperature is 40 + degrees

Long sleeves are ok to be worn on their own outside when the temperature is 39-32 degrees but it’s time to pack up the crocs & sandals!

Coats, hats, gloves & boots are required for temperatures under 32 degrees

Please join the Commission on the Future of Public Education in Middlebury on Monday, December 2, 2024, 5-7:00 p.m. ACSD Community members will have an opportunity to meet with members of the Commission on the Future of Public Education and answer questions such as: What are the strengths of public education in Vermont? What are some of the challenges of our current system? What suggestions do you have for the Commission? What questions do you have about the finance system?
