Alvirne Course Selection Night Jan. 14

Alvirne's course selection night for the 2025-26 academic year is coming up on January 14 at the high school. Parents can find out about the course request process with Alvirne school counselors in an informational meeting setting. Parents of prospective ninth graders will have a time slot of 5-6:30 pm, while parents of incoming 10th, 11th, and 12th graders will meet from 7-8 pm.

Palmer Center at Alvirne Open House

The Palmer Center at Alvirne High School will be hosting a CTE Open House event coming up on January 22nd from 5:30-7:30 pm. There will be teachers and the CTE Ambassadors in attendance to answer any questions and show prospective students around the building. If you're interested in learning more about the Palmer Center and their offerings, you can visit their website here.

Substitute Positions Open in the District

We're currently looking for some wonderful community members to join our team as substitute teachers! There are open positions at all grade levels, and you can find out more and apply at sau81.org/careers.

Where to Find Information in the District

This Past Week at Hudson School District

New Hampshire poet, Jennifer Militello, visited Alvirne this week to tell students about her experience in her profession and had a Q&A session to go along with five readings of her poems.

Our schools have hosted tremendous concerts recently, including the Hills Garrison chorus concert last week that included a selection of holiday and winter themed songs.

The Alvirne Mock Trial team gained valuable experience last weekend when they traveled to Souhegan High School for a mock trial event.
