The Weekly Update #16
December 13. 2024
PRINCIPAL GREETING
Dear Parents and Guardians,
It was great to see many proud faces at our Band Concert last night. The many beautiful songs played by each of our bands really showed just how excellent our student musicians are. If you are free next Wednesday evening, there is still an opportunity to see our Choir Perform their holiday concert.
We hope you have been enjoying the hustle and bustle leading up to the holiday and/or the cold weather as we finally feel a taste of winter. Please make note of the half day next Friday as well as our return to school date of January 2.
Have a great weekend,
Dr. McCann

Reminders
Clinical Corner
With the end of 2024 approaching, it seems it would be a good time to do some self-reflection. Listed below are some categories and ideas to help yourself, your children and your students do just that. Hopefully, there will be a couple of quiet moments to jot down some thoughts and set yourself up for your best year yet!
What made you feel most alive this year?
What’s one thing you learned?
What accomplishments made you feel most proud?
What can you improve on?
What habits helped you stay focused and on track?
What advice would you give to your future self?
You might also want to consider creating a self-care plan by reflecting on what will help you take care of yourself, such as:
What types of food make you feel the best?
What type of movement feels best for your body?
What helps your mind feel calm?
How much sleep do you need?
When are the best times for you to go to sleep and wake up?
