To qualify, students must:

be a New Mexico resident for the past 12 consecutive months
United States citizenship is not a requirement for this scholarship.
plan to enroll in at least six credit hours at a public college or university in New Mexico toward a training certificate, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree, you may qualify.
Achieve and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5

Students are automatically awarded the scholarship at the beginning of their first semester of their freshman year.

To qualify, students must:

Be a New Mexico resident
United States citizenship is not a requirement for this scholarship.
Enroll at a participating school within 16 months of graduating high school or earning a certificate of completion
Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5
Complete 15 credit hours (for students at four-year colleges) or 12 credit hours (for community college students) each semester.

Students are automatically awarded the scholarship at the beginning of their second semester of their freshman year.
