Hawks' Highlights

What a great start! We have had our first Highland Acres "Hawks Highlights" assembly, selected our cross grade level teams, started earning stickers for our school wide goal, and created our team chants. What are teams you might be wondering? Each of our 103 students and all staff are selected for one of four colored teams; red (Wisdom), yellow (Determination), green (Strength), and blue (Leadership). We meet almost every Friday from 8:40-9:00 where we build connections, do activities around our life skill of the month, and have fun together. We look forward to learning together! Our PTO would like to welcome and extend an open invite to attend our monthly meetings which are held in the school library. Here is the agenda for the upcoming meeting this evening:
