Dear Ripton Elementary School Community,

The next few weeks at RES will surely zoom by with our students learning, exploring, while also enjoying winter fun; there are exciting activities lined up in the coming weeks including an author visit, skating afternoon, a Family Fun Night, and more!

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our extraordinary cook, Maryann Caul, for preparing a delicious feast that filled our hearts and bellies last week. Many thanks, also to the fantastic volunteers who generously gave their time to serve and share this special meal with our students.

We extend so much appreciation to Maryann Caul, who not only serves as our amazing custodian but recently joined our community as our Food Service provider, providing delicious and nourishing meals for our students! She plays a vital role in keeping our school running smoothly and looking amazing. We are so grateful for her contributions to our school community.

Get ready for a tasty start to the day! We are thrilled to announce some exciting changes to our breakfast offerings starting this week! Thanks to the dedication and culinary talents of our wonderful cook, Maryann Caul, we are now able to provide our students with a more delicious and healthier breakfast each morning.

With the introduction of our revamped breakfast menu, we can offer a small snack such as pretzels, crackers, a granola bar, or goldfish. However, if your child prefers something different or more substantial, please feel free to send in a snack for them to enjoy.

As the weather turns colder, please ensure that your children come to school with appropriate winter gear. Coats, hats, gloves, and scarves will keep them warm and ready to enjoy the outdoors comfortably and safely. If you’re in need of winter gear, please let Meg know; we are so happy to help!
