We had a great first full week at Stapleton! Students have learned school and classroom routines and structures. We had our first community meetings and our mascot, Eddie the Eagle, made an appearance. This Thursday is an early release for staff professional development. We dismiss at 12:55 PM and lunches are served. Looking forward to another great week! Please reach out to us with questions, ideas or concerns.

Community Meeting
We had our first coummunity meeting this Friday. Community meetings are a time we come together (grades K-2 and grades 3-5) to foster a strong community and to review the character trait of the month, responsibility.
Character Trait of the Month- Responsibility
Each month we review a character trait. Classroom teachers conduct lessons and activities. We have community meetings and we celebrate a student of the week who exhibits behaviors related to the character trait. This month we will focus on Responsibilty.
You may have seen the message from Dr. Tremblay, FPS Superintendent, regarding Parent Teacher Home Visit Program. We are committed to building relationships with our Stapleton families.
PTO Movie Night
Come join us at the Stapleton playground on Saturday, September 21st at 6:30pm!
This event is FREE for all to join! Bring blankets/chairs. The PTO will have popcorn, candy, and snacks available for purchase. We are going to have the students vote on the movie this year during school. Once the movie decided we will send out a flyer with all the details!
Guardians must be present during the entire event, no drop-offs.
* Movie Night will be held in the gym if it rains *
We hope you are able to come and enjoy the movie under the stars with us!
Caregiver Drop off and Arrival
We continue to improve our arrival and dismissal procedures to ensure the safety of our students. After our first six days of school we are adjusting a few procedures.
- We will only be unloading or loading 5 vehicles at a time. Please see the visual below. There will be 5 cones. You might be asked to drive to "cone 1" to meet your child. The chunked loading of cars should also help with the traffic exiting Edwards Street.
- We are encouraging all vehicles in the Car Line to have a sign with your students name and grade in the car window. This will make dismissal faster.
- Staff are wearing safety vests and will be located to one cone.
- Please do not drive around other vehicles unless directed.

School-Home Communication!
Weekly newsletters from the administration team will go out on Sunday evenings (except on holiday weekends).
If your child will be absent or tardy, please call our school office and follow the prompts for the attendance line 508-626-9143.
As a district, we now use Parent Square for communication with caretakers and families. We no longer use Remind. More information on the Parent Square please click the link below.
Student Cell Phone Use
Students are not allowed to use their cell phones during the school day. Students who are found to be using their phones will be asked to put it away. If this becomes persistent we will hold it in the office until end of day and let caregivers know. Thank you for for your assistance with this.
