Congratulations!

Please congratulate Dr. Marissa Flores, our ESOL Teacher, the December EMS Staff Member of the Month. One of her nominations from a parent said, "She does a great job with our Hispanic/Latino community." EMS is lucky to have Dr. Flores.

Winter Intramurals

Winter Intramurals will begin soon. Permission slips are attached below and will be available in the cafeteria starting on Monday, January 8th.


Volleyball (M/W) with Mr. Plotner begins on Monday, January 22nd.

Strength and Conditioning (T/Th) with Mr. Morris begins on Tuesday, January 23rd.

Basketball (T/Th) with Ms. Tonini begins on Tuesday, January 23rd.

Chess (T/Th) with Mr. Collins begins on Tuesday, January 23rd.

All SMCPS school and offices will be closed on Monday, January 15th in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.


Friday, January 26th is a Professional Day for staff and no school for students.

New for 2022, families have the option to pay for lost or damaged resources in My School Bucks. Resources include library books, laptops, chargers, textbooks, consumables, etc.
