Exciting news to share this week. If you haven't heard, Tustin Connect was named the Reader's Choice 2021 Virtual Learning School. We are so excited and appreciative of this honor. We were also featured in the Tustin Week In Review! Check it out. Our background this week features the award from ParentingOC Magazine. We are so humbled and appreciative of the recognition. It is something I know to be true, that we are the best Virtual Learning School in the OC and beyond, but it is always great to receive recognition especially when it comes from the community. We have some fantastic updates to share including a Monster Drive-In Trunk or Treat Event, spirit wear sales coming soon, the latest addition to the Maverick Family, Mrs. Quinn, and more! Also, if you haven't had a chance, please join us at the Dino Dash this year. It's an awesome event and we'd love to get a group together. You can enroll at www.tpsf.net and TC get $10 every enrollment. PTA is working on some exciting activities and programs. It is an amazing group of parents. Here are some highlights.

Reflections Program: Please see the flyer below about the Reflections Art Program for our students. It's a great way to showcase your child's talents.

Monster Drive-In Trunk or Treat: Thursday, October 28th from 5-7 pm at the B Street Campus will be our TC's First Ever Trunk or Treat Event. Come dressed in costume or not, and enjoy the fun. More details coming soon.

Spirit Wear: Our PTA has designed some super cool new spirit wear. Check out the new design and order forms coming soon.

Yearbooks: PTA will be working on yearbooks this year for TC students and families. Super exciting so be sure to get your picture taken on November 3rd!

Finally, I’d like to encourage you to make a difference by joining us in any way you can. From sending feedback, providing suggestions, sharing your talent, or taking on a large event, your support is necessary to our mission and it’s just another reason Tustin Connect thrives. Let’s build last year’s participation and success. Please know, every effort put forward a year by our PTA exists to enrich your students Elementary School experience. For those new to TUSD, one of the great traditions is the Tustin Public School Foundations Dino Dash. The Dash celebrates its 30th year this year and will be held the morning of October 31st, Halloween. We would love to celebrate with as many TC families as possible. This is an awesome event and each registration purchased provides TC with $10 to spend on valuable supplies for the school from website subscriptions to outdoor equipment. Please consider attending and signing up. You can even purchase runner ships for students that may not be able to purchase one for themselves. You can register following this link. There's also a Logo Contest open to all middle/high school students. Check out the rules here.

If you have any technology questions or needs, please take a moment to visit the Resources section on our TC website and which has helpful hints and answers many of your questions. It also has a link to our TUSD helpdesk where you can get help for a wide range of issues from iPads to Schoology,, apps and more. Check it out!
