Tennessee Governor's Schools
Attention Sophomores and Juniors!!
The Tennessee Governor's Schools provide eleven challenging and high-intensity programs for rising 11th and 12th grade students. Each school offers a unique learning environment for students interested in the arts, humanities, agriculture science, STEM programs, advanced mathematics, physics, leadership, international studies, Tennessee history, or potential teaching careers. Students who qualify for Governor's School are typically in the top 10% of their class academically (if applying to a school other than the Governor's School for the Arts) OR talented and gifted in the Arts (if applying to the Governor's School for the Arts).
Click the link below and take a look at the schools and applications to see if you are interested. If you would like to apply for one or more of the programs, please see Mrs. Byrd in the counseling office for more information. Some of the deadlines are in December, so act quickly if you're interested!
