We are cruising right along! Next week, we will begin our focus on our new character words. Our first set of words will be think and reflect. We are using "think" with our younger kids and "reflect" with our older students. We are working on thinking and reflecting on what we are learning both academically and social-emotionally.
Just a reminder (or brand new information for those who may not know)- it is against the law to be on your cell phone while in your vehicle in a school zone. Not only could you get a ticket or potentially get in an accident, but it slows our car rider line down when people do not move forward because they are on their phones and not paying attention. Thanks for your help!
We are getting ready to start a fundraiser for our Booster Club Tuesday. Booster helps our school by purchasing things like for our students; for example, they have purchased inside recess games, prizes for recognition, and PE equipment. We are hoping to raise money to purchase a set of ukeleles for our music program this year. We will be offering pizza discount cards for students to sell like we did two years ago.
