Wristbands went home with students who pre-paid for the pool party TODAY.

Please be sure to wear your wristbands to the pool party to guarantee QUICK access, without waiting in lines! If you lost the wristband, no worries -- there will be a master roster of those who pre-paid.

Families can still purchase wristbands at the door!

All visitors entering our school will be asked to check-in and present a valid state issued ID to be entered into our Raptor Visitor Tracking system. This system has the ability to provide alerts on visitors who may compromise the safety of our school environment. Once a visitor is cleared in the system, a badge will be printed featuring the visitor's name, photo, date, time and place you are visiting in our school. ALL VISITORS are required to wear this badge when in our school building.

We ask for your cooperation in presenting a valid state issued ID when checking in at the school.

Curriculum Night will take place on Thursday, September 6th from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

Parents are highly encouraged to attend curriculum night to learn more information about their child's curriculum, instructional programs, and teacher expectations. Attending Curriculum Night is a great way for parents to support their child's education and will help parents gain important insights into their child's education.

The book fair is around the corner! Students will browse the books Tuesday, September 4th. Books will be available for purchase on Wednesday, September 5th and Thursday, September 6th. Families will also have the opportunity to buy books during the evening of Curriculum Night on September 6th (located in the 1st grade project space).

Some families may have already received a letter via mail stating that their child/children has been automatically approved for free school meals through the direct certification process. If you received this free direct certification letter in the mail, there is NO NEED to fill out a lunch application.

This past Wednesday, all district families should have received free/reduced lunch applications for the 2018-2019 school year. Processing your applications will be a top priority. The applications can be returned directly to your child's school and will then be processed swiftly.

Kennedy School will be closed on Monday, September 3rd in honor of Labor Day. School will resume on Tuesday, September 4th.
