I am proud to welcome back all of our staff members, our students, and our families to the 2023-2024 school year! I hope that all of you had a wonderful summer! We are looking forward to an amazing school year! I want to say Thank you to our custodians and Kinnelon maintenance staff who did a wonderful job over the summer preparing our building for our staff and students and also to our amazing staff members who prepared their classrooms for our students. The building is sparkling, the bulletin boards are decorated and we are ready to go.

Back To School Night will be held on Monday, September 18th, beginning at 5:30. We look foward to seeing all of you at Back To School Night!

Student Council Elections will be held in each classroom on Friday, September 15th. If your child would like to run for Student Council, please make sure that they write a speech that they will read to their classmates as to why they would best represent their class. They should also create a poster about themselves and a slogan that will be hung up in their classroom. Please do not send in food or any giveaways to help win the election. This is about why your child would be a great leader for Stonybrook School. All Student Council Meetings are held on Monday mornings with Mrs. West beginning at 8:15 a.m.

We are asking all students to wear polka dots to school this Friday, September 15th to help celebrate "Dot Day." International Dot Day is a global celebration of creativity, courage, and collaboration when a teacher introduced the book The Dot.
