Read Across America Day- March 1st
Read Across America Day is officially on March 2nd. Freedom will recognize it on Friday, March 1st. There will be various activities happening during the week that are included below. Look for more details to come!
Buddy Grade Activity: A schedule will be set up for Friday, March 1st for a buddy grade activity. The activity will be set up in the library for a 30-minute time. Classes/grades can rotate through to work on the activity with all the preparation taken care of. Fifth and second grades will buddy together. Fourth and first grades will buddy together. Third and Kindergarten grades will buddy together.
Guest Readers: Doherty Student Council students will come to Freedom from 12 to 2pm to read with our classes.

This is a family event for ALL students, families, siblings, and staff.
This event is not a drop-off event. Students, families, and staff are welcome to wear school-appropriate pajamas. Feel free to bring a blanket and stuffed animal.
Ocean Odyssey Coming Soon!
This week your child brought home an invitation to the 2024 Freedom Art and STEM night's Ocean Odyssey on March 21st from 5:30-7:00 pm. We have lots of exciting activities for everyone this year including a Student Art Gallery, Glow Gallery, Student STEM Project Display, Book Fair, and STEM Activities.
Also attached was an envelope for ordering In-N-Out meals. This is different than last year, as we will not be taking online orders or using credit cards for purchases of meals. If you would like to order meals this year, please fill out the information on the envelope and place your payment of cash or check in the envelope and return it with your child to school. All meals must be pre-ordered by March 8, 2024. There will be no purchases the night of the event.
