Road Patrol Crossing
We have noticed an increasing number of whanau that are choosing to cross the road at different points with their children. We ask that you use the crossing please. Crossing at different places along the road sends mixed messages to our other students who then may copy this unsafe behaviour.
Please help us to keep ALL our tamariki safe by using the provided crossing.
HELP NEEDED
If you are interested in offering help in term 4 with supervising our road patrol in the mornings and/or afternoons, please contact Mr Reade or the office.

COMMUNITY NEWS
This Friday is Gumboot Friday!
Gumboot Friday is a free counselling service for any young person in New Zealand aged 25 and under.
An overworked, underfunded, and under resourced public mental health service has led to excruciatingly long wait times for young people needing immediate help.
Gumboot Friday was designed to meet the needs of young people. Using fully qualified, licensed practitioners from the private sector, young people are able to book a session at www.gumbootfriday.com and in 3 clicks of a button, they are more often than not, seen within a week.
Best of all, we take care of the bill

Primo is bringing Nigel Latta to New Plymouth for an exciting event - Primo Presents NIGEL LATTA LIVE: What in the scam is going on?
This event is designed to help protect our community. Teenagers, Parents, Grandparents, Business Owners, and the like.
In a one-hour presentation led by Nigel Latta, followed by an interactive Q&A session with the audience we delve into the critical topic of The Psychological Firewall.
Scammers are constantly adjusting their approach to exploit the psychological traits that make us both human, and vulnerable. Nigel will explain the traits scammers exploit, and the simple ways we can all better protect ourselves against them.
We invite you to help spread the word to the families in your school to help inform and keep them safe. This event is aimed at 18+.
More information and tickets can be found thought this link here: https://premier.ticketek.co.nz/shows/show.aspx?sh=NIGELLAT23, we have put a special price for students and senior citizens on there too!
