All proceeds will go to the Unified movement at Eagan High School. What is the “EHS Unified” and what will the raised money go towards? EHS has a large number of students and staff that are a part of a group called “Unified”. The Unified group has a purposeful plan to promote meaningful social inclusion by bringing together students with and without disabilities to create accepting school environments. At EHS, we have done this through shared activities, courses, sports and activities. We currently have a Unified Physical Education class, have participated in Unified bocce ball, basketball (21/22 Section B State Champions), bowling and soccer tournaments, created awareness and participated in school wide recognition of Unity Day, and the “Kindness Matters” and “Spread the Word” campaigns . These events can be costly and the money fundraised will go towards tournament participation and inclusive activities planned for all EHS students throughout the 22/23 school year.
Eagan HS Closed Campus – Please, no departure without a pass
EHS is a closed campus. Students are not allowed to depart from campus unless they have a valid pass to do so. Lunch time requires students to be in the Cafeteria (Commons) and not ordering in food. We have a Federally subsidized Food Program and cannot compete with that program. Any food delivered by services to the building, will be refused.
If a parent/guardian needs to have a student depart during the school day, or arrive late due to an appointment (medical, dental, counseling, etc.) a call to our Attendance Office is needed. Call 651-683-6911. A pass will be prepared for the student to depart and check back in upon return.
Students are not allowed to go to vehicles in the parking lot during the day – unless given a pass from the Attendance Office to do so. Call 651-683-6911

Here Comes the Bus
As we begin the new school year, many of our families are signing up for our school bus notification system, Here Comes the Bus. Some families have experienced errors when trying to set up their account when they type in their student's last name and student ID.
Instead of the student ID, the parent needs to type in the student's lunch pin, which can be found in their Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Do not use the student ID, but rather the lunch pin.
Steps for Families
- Log into the app with your email address and use the District 196 ID: 73500
- Add your student’s name and student lunch account number, which can be found in their Infinite Campus profile. (If your child is in Early Childhood Education, contact the Transportation to get a temporary lunch account number. Email Transportation@district196.org.)
- Once login is complete, set up a virtual radius that will alert when the bus is in the area.
Parents must decide on optional iPad Protection Plan
After waiving the fee the last two years, District 196 is once again offering an optional iPad Protection Plan for the 2022-23 school year to help protect against unexpected costs for accidental damage to, or loss of a district-issued iPad. Prior to 2020-21 and again this upcoming school year, families may opt into the protection plan for $20 per iPad for the entire school year. There is a reduced fee for students eligible for the Educational Benefits Program, so it is recommended that parents and guardians complete that application first. Go tohttps://www.district196.org and select Services/Technology..
All families are asked to accept or decline the optional iPad Protection Plan by Monday, September 19, at which time a non-response will be considered declining the offer. To make their choice, parents and guardians log into their MyPaymentsPlus account, do a search for “iPad” and select one of only two options presented: to accept the protection plan or to decline it. Both options include the Student User Agreement for review and acknowledgement. For directions on using MyPaymentsPlus or creating an account, go to https://www.district196.org and select Community/Family Resources. For assistance, families should contact their child’s school.
District 196 Food & Nutrition Information - renew Educational Benefits for 22-23. Free lunches and breakfasts ended for the 2022-2023 school year.
