The student store is ongoing. One volunteer is needed every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 - 9:25am.

We are looking for 2 volunteers per shift to supervise the new food waste program during 8th grade lunch. Times are 12:04-12:34 Mondays and Tuesdays and 11:39-12:09 Wednesday though Friday. 8th grade student leads will do the work and direct where the food waste goes, adults will be there to support.

Help Keep Cedar Park Awesome by joining our PTC Board for 23-24! Several of our current board members' students will be moving on to high school and are ready to help get new members up to speed and set up with success!

Participation on the board is a great way to support the school, stay connected to the principal, and model volunteerism! It is also a great way to serve for parents who may work during the school day and are not available to help during school hours.

Please consider joining the board in one of the following positions:

• Secretary - take meeting minutes, update the Facebook page and website (not special programming skills needed), and develop a periodic newsletter and communications during the 5K fundraising season.
• Vice President - Assist in the coordination of the PTC's one and only fundraiser of the year - the 5K!
• Volunteer Coordinator - Use the Better Impact system through Beaverton School District to push out communications regarding volunteer needs at Cedar Park The current coordinator can help you get started and district offers training as well!
• Treasurer - Keep records of expenditures and revenue, and manage reimbursement. The current treasurer will be happy to get you up to speed!

The 8th grade science teachers are hoping to take the 8th graders on an epic and outdoorsy field trip to the Mt. St. Helens Ape Caves.

Please consider joining along on May 18th from 9:30am-3:30pm for some good times and adventure! We just need more volunteers to make this happen!
