Advanced Placement Process | Update
In 2019, District 25 began a comprehensive review of the District 's Advanced Learning opportunities. It was interrupted by the pandemic, and picked back up in the Spring of 2022 with the goal of reviewing identification criteria and the extent to which the District's current Advanced Learning opportunities meet the existing needs of its students.
At the September Board Meeting, District 25's Department of Student Learning presented the findings of consultant Scott J. Peters, Ph.D of Partners in Advanced Education, Inc. (PIAE). After receiving feedback from the Board, Staff, and Dr. Peters, the District updated their Advanced Placement process.

#WGLeads
We aren't kidding when we say #WGLeads!
We visited Westgate's Star-Heart Community Service and Student Leaders Teams, and we were blown away by the amount of care, compassion, responsibility, and leadership we saw from our students. These Wolverines are so dedicated that they volunteer during their recess! Some of their recent projects to help their school and community included designing posters for toy donation drives and creating videos for school spirit days. So inspiring!
We can't wait to see what our future leaders have in store next!
#NewTeacherTuesday
It's the first #NewTeacherTuesday of 2024!!!!
This week, we're highlighting Flora Gorman, who works as a Psychologist at Ivy Hill Elementary!
"My 'why' is because early intervention can be the key to independence, confidence, and success."
We're so happy you joined our family, Flora!
Keep Up with Our Progress!
