Let's keep your little bundles BUNDLED!
✔ Please remember to send kiddos to school with a warm coat and clothing.
✔ If you need any help getting warm clothing, please do let us know so we can help.
✔ It is helpful to have student names on coats, hats, gloves, lunchboxes. That way we can reconnect lost items with their owners 🧣
Before and After School Programs?
Help us, help YOU... please take this survey :)
We are in the process of considering some new program offerings for this year and beyond... It would help us with planning and prioritization if you could take a moment and share your level of interest in these new programs. This is not a sign-up form, just a temperature check... Please feel free to include any other ideas and/or ways you think the school could support your family in the future. Take me to the survey!
Shout-Outs!!
Helping people in our community!
Join me in giving a BIG shout out to all the kiddos and families who supported our community food drive. We were able to donate almost 500 items to the S. Corvallis Food Bank this month.
5th Grade went GAGA
Three cheers to our 5th graders who took on Ashbrook, Kings Valley, and Zion Lutheran in the 1st annual Gaga Valley Tournament! They came in as underdogs (only team with no 6th graders), and took home 2nd place!!
Money for Music!
Last spring and summer the music applied for and received $10,000 in grant money for our music program. And this month they brought in an ADDITIONAL $750 + $250 for the art room. We'll have our ukeleles before you know it!
Literary Devices in 5th Grade
Shout-Out to Mr. Day, Ms. Wells, Mr. Bowman, and their students for tackling metaphor, simile, personification, and onomatopoeia as examples of Literary Devices & academic language.
Literacy Celebration Tea Party in 3rd Grade
Shapes & Senses in Kindergarten
Shout-Out to Teacher Meika, Mrs. D, and the kinders for exploring their senses of taste, sight, hearing, touch, & smell in class. They are expressing that exploration and their study of shapes and color as well.
