Health Promoting Campus Newsletter
Monthly Newsletter to Support Student Wellbeing January 2024
Welcome back, Cornell community!
We hope you had a restorative winter break and that you have come back recharged and ready for spring semester. The start of a new calendar year can be a great time to reflect on what is serving you well and where there may be opportunities to make some changes. What were some of the highlights of last semester? What do you want to do more (or less) of this semester? What do you need in this moment to flourish?
This is our inaugural Health Promoting Campus newsletter (replacing the Thrive newsletter) where we will share updates on our Health Promoting Campus efforts as well as events and resources to support your wellbeing. We hope you find value in the information shared.
One key component of our work is to capture feedback from students, staff, and faculty. As such, please see the information below on our Photovoice Project. I encourage you to consider participating by sharing photos of what matters most to you. Your input will be helpful to guide our future work!
I wish you the best this semester and beyond!

Cheers to a Fresh Start!
Here’s to a fresh start! This semester means something different to each student. Some of you begin your final semester (congratulations!) while others are just beginning their time at Cornell.
If you are trying to meet a goal you failed at before, or even a new goal, you don’t have to go at it alone.
Lean on the people and resources who are here to support you. You deserve to be supported! And remember, keep taking the semester one day at a time.
