Dayton Olympics 2023 - Friday, May 19th
New this year, we’re encouraging all children to follow their regular dismissal procedures at the end of the day. By having students go home their regular way (by bus, or parent pick-up lane), classrooms are able to have a whole class celebration together at the end of the day. By following regular dismissal procedures, we are also able to eliminate some of the long lines, and busyness that can accompany over 700 families trying to safely sign-out their children at once. While we recognize there may be some unique circumstances on this day for your family, we strongly ask that you consider sending your child home their regular way. Thank you for helping us make this a fun and safe day.
~If possible, please avoid picking up students for appointments on this day, as it is difficult to call students into the office from the events.
~Parking will be an issue. Please bike, walk, or carpool if you are able. You may park in the parking lot to the east of the building or use the Central Park Lot (1st gravel driveway just west of the school). NOTE: The Central Lot is used for dismissal, and parked cars need to be moved no later than 3:45 p.m.
