News & Information for Tiger Families
Letter from the Principal
What a fun and exciting week Catholic Schools Week has been! This week included going to Lincoln Theater to watch Monsters Inc., playing Minute to Win It Games in Faith Families, Family Picnic, and the pep rally where the battle of the teachers vs 8th grade volleyball game was heated. It was a very close game, but the 8th graders took the win!
Thank you to everyone who donated to GOT YOUR SIX support dogs. If you forgot to send in your donation, there is still time. St. Teresa School will be presenting the donations on February 24th to Got Your Six.
It is that time of year again to nominate those who make an impact on St. Teresa School and Church. Does someone stand out to you that goes above and beyond in all that they do? If the answer is yes, please fill out the attached form below. We would love to recognize our teachers and parishioners who do so much for our school and parish.

Stuffy Sleepover - March 2, 2023
The PTO is hosting a stuffy sleepover on Thursday, March 2nd from 6-7:30pm in the parish center. The stuffy sleepover will be an auction sign up party, $10 a student, for Pre-k 3 thru 4th grade.
Students are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal to stay the night at school, while students will be participating in bedtime snacks, crafts, coloring, and a photo opportunity.
What mischief will your stuffy get into? Will your stuffy be eating the teachers snacks in the teacher lounge, sitting on desks, or taking the principal's chair for a spin? We will have to wait and see…
Everything Under the Sun Sale
THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the Everything Under the Sun sale a huge success!! We raised $4,000!
Thanks to all the teachers, staff, parents, students, Perpetual Help members, and Boy Scouts who volunteered their time. And thanks to everyone who donated- the gym was packed and the happy shoppers had fun taking home treasures.
After the sale we donated the leftover shoes to PawsCare, the leftover clothing to the Without Limits Cheer Squad to raise money for their trip to Germany for the Special Olympics World Games, and the rest of the items went to Mission Thrift Store/Goodwill which ultimately helps needy families.
Thank you Tigers!

Dress Code
Ensure you are following the Student Handbook for Dress Code
As the weather becomes colder many students may want to wear boots to school, however, students must have a change of shoes with them. Tennis shoes must be worn during the school day. Thank you for your cooperation.

Inclement Weather Plan
IS SCHOOL CLOSED?
Closure of St. Teresa School will be shared FIRST on the St. Teresa School website and on official St. Teresa social media within minutes of the decision.
For the 2022-2023 school year St. Teresa School will be following District 118 closure policy.
If District 118 is closed due to inclement weather, St. Teresa's will also be closed.
For the 2022-2023 school year there will be no "remote learning" days.
As children we all looked forward to the fun of a "snow day."
All "snow days" will be made up at the end of the 2022-2023 school year.
