Holiday Light and Cord Recycling Drive Ends January 31st
As you are cleaning and organizing after the holidays, please keep in mind our cord drive, which runs through the end of January. This includes Christmas lights, phone chargers, and any other electrical cords (leave plugs on).
The cords can be in ANY condition. They are recycled and WNC gets money per pound for each type of wire. The proceeds are then used to support WNC programs and clients...AND we keep the non-renewable resources out of our landfills! Bins are located by the front office at each school.
Thanks for considering!
We are joining again with WNC (Waunakee Neighborhood Connection) to provide recycling drop off locations at our schools. This recycling drive helps WNC raise a few dollars and also keeps non-renewable, recyclable resources out of the landfill.
Specifics:
Starts: November 17, 2023
Ends: January 31, 2024
There will be one WNC bin near each school office that will be regularly emptied
Acceptable Items:
Any cords, cables, holiday lights, or assorted wiring you wish to recycle
Leave plugs on
NO charger blocks
Please keep this drive in mind as you decorate and un-decorate this year! It may be a nice time to clean out other old cords and cables no longer in use both at home and in your school environment.
Please let me know with any questions and thank you for considering!

Morning Drop Off Reminder
Morning drop off can be quite congested. Please remember this is a circle drive drop off. There is no parking. Please follow the circle drive and drop off your student then exit the drive immediately.
Parents should ONLY be dropping off students in the FRONT of school. Please do not drop off students in the parking lot as this is for staff and busses only.
- Thank you!

Reporting Bullying, Hate Speech, Racial Slurs, etc.
Hello families,
This is just a reminder that if you or your child knows of an incident where they or someone they know has been a victim of bullying, hate speech, racial slurs, making threats etc., we have a reporting tool on our website for sharing information with us. On the main page of our district website, you can find the 'Incident Reporting Tool' in two locations - under our QUICKLINKS menu or our FAMILIES menu (highlighted in the picture below).
In order for us to follow up on and address issues or concerns, we need as much information as possible, including names of victims, offenders, and witnesses. I assure you, all information will be kept confidential. If you have information about something that poses a more immediate safety concern, please do not hesitate to call both the police and the school to ensure it is addressed immediately. Thank you for your continued efforts to partner with us in keeping our schools safe.

🖥️ Technology Tips for Parents/Guardians
Are you traveling and need to keep track of students assignments/grades?
Tips on How to Use Schoology as a Parent:
You have viewing access to your student's Schoology courses, therefore, please feel free to visit all their courses and become familiar with how they are organized. Click on this link to take you through the steps to access Schoology.
Note: Infinite Campus is still our main reporting system for grades and there may be additional assignments in Infinite Campus that are not in Schoology (ie: Participation, discussion, etc). Also, the overall grade calculation in Schoology will not be accurate, as any weighing of categories happens in Infinite Campus.
