A Note from our Principal, Mrs. Holmes
I hope all of our Rosebud families enjoyed the extra long weekend!
I have some exciting news to share... We not only have the highest achievement in the South Gwinnett Cluster on the Georgia Milestones, but Rosebud is also in the Top 50% of Title 1 schools in the state of Georgia!!!
Rosebud has also moved from being 6/10 on greatschools.org to 8/10 on greatschools.org due to our achievement on the Georgia Milestones. If you are a teacher, staff member, or parent I STRONGLY encourage you to leave a review. Many are quick to share things that don't go well, but if your child is having a positive experience, please share on greatschools.org. We have wonderful hard-working teachers and staff who may need a shout out.
We have a very busy September planned with lots of activities for our students and families. Be sure to take a look at these events in our Upcoming Events section. I look forward to seeing you sometime in the next few weeks!

Important Reminders
Does your child have an upcoming birthday? Looking for a unique way to celebrate?
You can help make your child's birthday extra special by putting their name in lights! For $15, you can have your child's name displayed on our school marquee as well as on the schoolwide eClass page for a day. Place your order on mypaymentsplus.com.
- Please remember that student checkout stops at 2:00 each day, as we begin to prepare for dismissal at that time.
- We understand that transportation changes can occur on occasion. Please be sure to email RosebudTransportation@gcpsk12.org by 12noon to communicate any changes to our staff.
- All parents that enter the building must have an ID on them. Please make sure to always have your ID with you when visiting Rosebud ES for any reason.
Student health and safety are a top priority for schools and families. Good nutrition, adequate rest and medical care help prevent illness, but one of the simplest ways you can keep your child healthy and learning is to teach effective hygiene. Make sure your child knows to wash hands frequently with soap, and to use hand sanitizer if soap isn't available. Make it clear that your child shouldn't share food, drinks, or clothing with other students. Then, if your child does get sick, follow school protocols for returning to school. Read more here!
