Welcome to Week 4! We are almost halfway through Quarter 1, and progress reports will be out soon. Parents, remember that you can check current attendance and grades through PowerSchool, and you can also check Canvas for individual assignments and tests. Reach out to the teacher via email should you have questions.

For this week, we will begin our Falcon Challenge fundraiser with PTO, and the culminating event will occur on October 3. Volleyball is at Home on the 13th versus Saluda Trail, while 7th and 8th grade football have away games. In addition, students will be gearing up for the first round of MAP testing the following week.

Student Council is back! Students interested in joining student council and/or running for office can pick up applications from the front office. They are due to Ms. Holmes by 3:00 on Friday, September 15.

Falcons, who can read the most books and log them into the Launchpad SLMS Reading Log application? Teachers, or students? Currently, teachers are winning with 7th grade in 2nd place. We will celebrate the leading winners each quarter!

The Falcon Challenge fundraiser from PTO will run from September 11 to October 2! Informational flyers will be sent home Monday, September 11. Please see your Falcon Time teacher with any questions. A copy of the information can be found below.

The SIC invites you to attend ALL of their meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 5:30 in the library to get updates on the school and give input on goals revolving around the District’s goals. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, September 12.

MAP testing are progress reports are scheduled for the week of the 18th.

The BIMAS Universal Screener will occur on September 27. A letter will be sent home Monday, September 11 through Falcon Time. It can also be found HERE.

RHSD3 Mental Health Department

The Sullivan Middle School SIC will participate in NAMIWalks! We have a goal of $100. You do not need to contribute to participate. Show up and show your support!
